There was a time, unfamiliar to those under 20, when travel orders were placed in person at the agency or by telephone. With the advent of technology, we switched to ordering travel by telex.
The increasing modernization of communications led to the use of fax. Even today, when our fax crackles, it’s with a nostalgic tear in our eye that we decipher the request. At the dawn of the 21st century, computers gave us e-mail.
Following its development and modernization, our agency, founded in 1989 and located chaussée de Waterloo à la Bascule, moved in 1994 to occupy a mansion at 250 avenue Brugmann in Uccle. The Business Department was created on September 17, 1994. At the time, it employed just one person. In 1997, our railroads department was created, and developed rapidly as high-speed trains such as the TGV, Thalys, Eurostar and ICE came into being.
On February 12, 2008, thanks to our cutting-edge reservation technologies, we issue one of the first dematerialized air tickets, more commonly known as E-ticket. Our agency is designated as a “test agency” for the test phases prior to the large-scale launch of new products.
